Join us for a morning of creativity with Sidney Field of Salto! Sidney will show you step by step how to create a ceramic vase using the hand building techniques that she uses in her own studio. You’ll learn how to build a basic form, as well as how to create texture, attach shapes, or cut out elements to personalize your vase however you imagine!

Come with some ideas and be sure to wear clothing you don’t care about getting muddy. We will provide brunch bites and beverages, and of course all the clay and tools you’ll need to build your own vase. Sidney will be taking your pieces home to fire and glaze them, and vases will be returned to the shop for pickup in several weeks.
