ABOUT THE SHOP
Tired of seeing spaces decorated with the same mass-produced items, founder Cassandra LaValle took her passion for sourcing vintage and original home goods for her styling clients and channeled it into creating a storefront offering hand selected pieces that bring joy, character and story to a home.
At the Casa, we strongly believe in the value of vintage, antique and handmade goods – not just for the beautiful patina they lend to styling a home, but also the sustainability of purchasing items already in existence, or made to order.
Alongside our vintage finds, we source ceramics, textiles, candles and more from small artists, makers, and socially-responsible businesses, preferring one-of-a-kind, handmade, or imperfect objects and textiles to fill our shelves and yours.

ABOUT CASSANDRA
For nearly 20 years Cassandra LaValle has spent her life crafting environments through interior design, merchandising and events. In 2020, Cassandra shifted her energy and focus on her greatest loves and highest talents: curating, merchandising and styling.
At Casa di LaValle, Cassandra hand picks each piece that enters the shop, and lends her stylist eye to create a visual story through her merchandising. Her aesthetic is inspired by her own heritage and upbringing – Southern Italian meets West Coast – and features European style antiques along modern ceramics, plenty of organic textures and pieces that exude a sunny optimism. Cassandra’s signature styling of warm and welcoming environments is obvious through the selections she brings to the shop.

Customer Service
SHIPPING
We typically pack and ship items once a week, so please allow 5-7 days for shipping! If you require your packages faster, please let us know.
RETURNS
If for some reason your purchase doesn’t work out, we accept returns on eligible items within 14 days for exchange or refund. Please contact us immediately for any questions regarding returns. All items must be returned in new and unused condition. Returns that are damaged, soiled, laundered, or altered may not be accepted.
All vintage, art, books, food and sale items are final sale.
All shipping charges are non-refundable and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Please allow 7 days for your return to be processed.
If your product arrives damaged, please notify us as soon as possible, and include photos of both the packaging and the damaged item so that we may refund your purchase. Damaged products must be reported within 1-3 days of delivery.
Events Cancellation Policy
Due to the highly creative and collaborative coordination that our events require ahead of time, we do not offer refunds. However, should the participant be unable to make the planned event, the participant can gift their ticket to a friend if they cannot make it. The participant can make arrangements, and must notify the Hosts of the transfer of the ticket.
We understand that ‘life happens,’ and any cancellation request received due to an extenuating circumstance may be reviewed by the Hosts who in turn will recommend the appropriate action. Extenuating circumstances can be (but not limited to) death in the family, documented positive COVID-19 test etc.
If the event is cancelled by Hosts, all participants will be extended a full refund of their payments.

Can I pick up online orders if I live in Seattle?
Yes! You will be given the option for pickup upon checkout if you live in the Seattle area.
How do I get my art or wares sold through Casa di LaValle?
If you are an artist, maker or small business who might be a good fit for us, please send us an email with further information! We are always looking for new pieces to carry in the shop.
Do you offer discounts to the trade?
We believe in pricing our goods as fairly as possible, making our markup on most items quite small. Because of that, we do not currently offer a trade discount, but will honor reseller’s permits to local designers for tax free shopping.
